This policy explains what information DailyDebtSolution collects on www.dailydebtsolution.com and loans.dailydebtsolution.com, and in emails we send under the DailyDebtSolution name. It covers what we do with that information, who we share it with and the choices you have. DailyDebtSolution is a brand of Instar, Inc., 67 West Street, Brooklyn, NY 11222 (“we”, “us”). Our loan request page at request.dailydebtsolution.com has its own privacy policy. Some pages that use the DailyDebtSolution name are run by partners under their own policies; those pages say so.
The short version
- If you ask for a loan through a form on this site, we pass your request to lending partners so they can see if they can help. They pay for these requests, which under some state laws counts as selling personal information. See Do Not Sell or Share.
- Lenders may check your information with consumer reporting agencies, including a credit check if you authorize it.
- We only call or text you if you agreed to it, and you can stop at any time.
- If you sign up for emails, every email has an unsubscribe link.
What we collect
What you give us
- Loan request form: your name, email, phone numbers, address, date of birth, income, pay schedule, employment, bank details and other details the form asks for, including your Social Security number where requested, plus the consents you give.
- Email sign-up: your email address.
- Contact form: your name, email address and message.
- Comments: if you comment on a post, the name, email and comment you enter.
What we collect automatically
- Your IP address and browser details.
- Which pages you visit and where you came from, measured with Google Analytics using cookies. Google Analytics never receives your name, contact details or the financial details you enter.
- Details of your visit recorded by the loan request form’s platform to confirm the consents you gave and to prevent fraud.
- Whether you open our emails and click their links.
How we use it
- To pass your loan request to lenders and lending partners who may be able to help you.
- To verify your identity and prevent fraud.
- To keep a record of the consents you gave.
- To send you emails you signed up for, and to answer messages you send us.
- To contact you about your request and related offers, if you agreed.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it.
- To meet our legal obligations and enforce our terms.
Who we share it with
- Our lending network partner, which runs the loan request form on this site and passes your request to lenders. (confirm partner name)
- Lenders and lending partners, who use your information to decide whether to offer you a loan and may contact you. Their own privacy policies apply once they have it. See the full list of our Marketing Partners.
- Consumer reporting and verification companies, such as Experian, Clarity, Teletrack, DataX, CLVerify or Accurint, used by lenders to verify your identity and review your request.
- Service providers that run the site and our emails for us, such as our web host, our email delivery providers and Google Analytics.
- Authorities, when the law requires it or to protect rights and safety.
- A buyer of our business, if the business or this brand is sold.
The information you enter is not a loan application. Any lender you’re connected with will ask you to apply with them.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Lending partners pay for loan requests made on this site, so under California law and some other state laws a loan request involves a “sale” of personal information. Submitting a loan request is how you ask for your request to be passed on. After that, you can tell us not to sell or share your information again.
To opt out, email contact@dailydebtsolution.com with “Do Not Sell” in the subject, and include the email address and phone number you used. Information already passed to a lender stays subject to that lender’s privacy policy, so contact them as well if you want them to stop.
We don’t sell the email addresses of people who sign up for our emails. We use Google Analytics only to measure how the site is used. Its advertising features and Google signals are turned off, and we don’t place advertising cookies on this site.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, including California, you may have the right to:
- know what personal information we collected about you, where it came from, why we used it and who we shared it with;
- get a copy of it;
- ask us to correct it;
- ask us to delete it, subject to legal exceptions;
- opt out of its sale or sharing;
- not be treated differently for using these rights.
We only use sensitive information, such as your Social Security number and bank details, to provide the service you asked for.
To make a request, email contact@dailydebtsolution.com. We’ll check that the request comes from you, usually by matching details you gave us, and answer within 45 days. An authorized agent can make a request for you with your written permission.
Calls, texts and emails
We and our lending partners only call or text you if you agreed to it. Agreeing isn’t a condition of getting a loan. Reply STOP to any text to opt out. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also email contact@dailydebtsolution.com to stop our emails.
How long we keep information
We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, including keeping consent records and meeting legal and tax requirements. When you unsubscribe from our emails, we keep your email address on a do-not-email list so we don’t email you again.
Security
Forms on this site are sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and access to stored information is limited to people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so we can’t promise that information will never be accessed without permission.
Children
This site is for people 18 and over. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, email contact@dailydebtsolution.com and we’ll delete it.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy we’ll update the date at the top. Changes apply to information collected after that date.
